Katie, aka "Katie Cakes" is owned by Paul and Kristin Wehking and bred & co-owned by us. Katie has been a standout ever since her paws hit the whelping box! She is Kristin and Paul's first GWP, and they've done an amazing job with raising, training, and giving her every opportunity to display her talent in the field and correct type in the show ring. Katie has gorgeous dark eyes, a fabulous harsh, dense coat and moves with such grace and style. Every show she's been entered in, mostly just specialties, Katie's won sweeps, WB, BOW, and went BOS over a special. When she isn't turning heads in the ring she's competing in field events. She quickly earned 4 legs of her JH and ran only once in NAVHDA NA earning a Prize 1. She has intense drive and a gorgeous point. All these accomplishments were achieved under a year old. At 15 months old Katie went to her first National and swept it everyday! Took 5 pt majors her first 2 days as a class bitch, then next day out as a Special, earned an Award of Merit. She also won the National Sweepstakes and Futurity. This talented birddog had a bright start and we look forward to seeing her continue to excel in the field!
